The market remained range bound during the session, with the Nifty closing 35 points lower at 26,142. Oil & Gas and IT emerged as the key laggards of the day. Bank Nifty also declined by 116 points to settle at 59,183. Overall market breadth favored declines, reflecting a subdued and cautious market sentiment.
